2009
Coughlin made two All-Star teams in 2008 after coming off knee surgery. He began 2009 in a three-man catcher rotation in Visalia, but also saw time at first base and DH. Coughlin got promoted to Double-A on May 13th, after hitting .260 this season in 27 games for the Rawhide while smacking 4 home runs and driving in 20.
2008
Coughlin began the '08 season in extended spring training after playing with the Osprey last summer and in the Instructional League last fall. He joined the South Bend Silver Hawks in early May, becoming part of a three-man rotation with Konrad Schmidt and Gerardo Bustamente.
