| Merritt lines up in several places for his LaGrange team, including defensive end and linebacker. Former Granger Braxton Kelley also played end for LaGrange, but Merritt compares more favorably with another former Granger Wesley Woodyard because of his height and arm length. He is a lean outside linebacker prospect that loves contact and does a good job of picking the right lanes to blitz. Needs to shore up technique; Scott Kennedy, Scout.com. |
