2003: Chosen for the SEC All-Freshman team by the Knoxville News-Sentinel ... Played in all 12 games and earned five starting assignments ... Caught 20 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns ... Both scoring plays indicated his marvelous ability.

High School: Playmaking athlete as a quarterback and safety. Career stats include 274 rushing attempts for 1,634 yards, a 6.0-yard average, and 25 touchdowns … Completed 81 of 226 passes for 1,605 yards and 17 TDs … Had 98 tackles in his career, along with 30 pass breakups … Intercepted 10 passes, returning two for touchdowns … Also had a punt return for a touchdown.
