Cats face Vols in rubber game of series Premium Story

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Despite a career-high 14 strikeouts from starting pitcher Chris Rusin yesterday, the Cats fell to the Vols 8-2 to even the series at one game each. The loss dropped the Cats 2-1/2 games behind 8th place Vanderbilt and 3 games behind 7th place South Carolina and kept UK tied for 9th in the SEC standings. The top eight teams go to the SEC tournament.
