When Kentucky’s football team opens its season on September 1, Louisville won’t be the school lining up on the opposite sideline. Instead, Eastern Kentucky University, located 20 miles south of Lexington in Richmond, will serve as the Wildcats’ opening opponent at Commonwealth Stadium.
