Defensive end DeQuin Evans, a senior, laid on the ground for several minutes after hurting his right knee.

He was finally able to get up and walk gingerly around the practice field for several minutes before heading for the training room. A precautionary MRI will be taken to make sure there was not any damage.

Redshirt defensive tackle Mister Cobble sprained his knee after being elevated to the No. 1 unit. Phillips said he would be monitored for 48 hours but that he did not anticipate any long range problems with him, either.
