Kentucky hasn't had much success pulling recruits from within the borders of Alabama, but that hasn't stopped the staff from working the talent-rich state. One prospect of interest is Gadsden corner Dale Trimble.

Dale Trimble, a three-star corner from Gadsden City High (AL.) is one of the top corner prospects on Kentucky's recruiting board. The Wildcats have company aboard Trimble's list, however. "I'm looking at Tennessee, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Auburn, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt," said Trimble.

Trimble has been especially high on Tennessee as he almost committed to them mid-summer. But things may have evened out a little. "I'm pretty much even with all of them, but Tennessee has been up there towards the top," said Trimble.

Trimble hasn't scheduled his official visits yet, but he says he plans to go to "some games" this fall. He's in no hurry to make a decision at this point. "I was going to wait until like the fifth or sixth game, but I might wait until the end of the year now," said Trimble.

So what will Trimble be looking for with each visit? "I'm really big on academics," he said. "I would also like to play early, for a winning team. I also want to play for somebody who'll continue to get better after a couple of years," he finished.

On the field, Trimble possesses elite speed and ability. "I play very well in the zone. My weakness is playing on the line. My weight is a weakness too. But my speed (4.45 forty) is a strength and breaking on the ball," said Trimble.

As a junior Trimble had 48 tackles and six interceptions as Gadsden High went 7-5 on the season. He is the number 104 cornerback in the country according to Scout.com.
