After the many struggles of Mike Hartline and Randall Cobb at quarterback this season, Rich Brooks has brought in five-star quarterback Morgan Newton and four-star quarterback Ryan Mossakowski for next season. Additionally, they appear to want to add JUCO Brad McClellan in for a visit as well. "I'm visiting Kentucky January 15th through 17th," said McClellan.

McClellan led College of the Canyons to a 12-1 record this season, throwing for around 2300 yards and 23 touchdowns. He also ran for around 600 yards and 8 touchdowns in only 9 games. "We were actually ranked number one. We lost in the southern California final game. That's the game before the national championship," said McClellan.

Even with his big numbers McClellan sees room for improvement. "I would like to be a little better at recognizing coverages and reading defenses," said McClellan. "I throw the ball well vertically and I make sound decisions. I don't put the team in bad situations," he said.

So what schools are looking to bring McClellan in this summer? "Kentucky, South Florida, Cincinnati and Middle Tennessee State are my main four," he said.

What is it about the Wildcats that McClellan likes? "I have actually always had an eye on Kentucky. My dad is from Indiana. I've always watched them," he said. "I like the history and tradition. They have made a good impression on me."

With the large number of quarterbacks on Kentucky's roster, it will be interesting to see how McClellan fits in, if he picks the Wildcats. Especially considering one of his biggest considerations for each school. "Playing time is big. That's number one for me. Then I want an offense that will fit me best," said McClellan.
