Kentucky Reportedly to Receive Commitment

Wildcats may receive commitment from LaGrange linebacker at the end of the week.

Linebacker Demetri Merritt, from LaGrange High (Ga.) may be the next player to become a Wildcat says a report out of Georgia.

Atlanta Journal-Constitution report Jay Stone spoke with Merritt after he returned from the UK-South Carolina game in Lexington this weekend. Merritt says that he will commit after his game on Friday night.

The 6-foot-3, 200 pound Merritt also has an offer from UAB. He would be the third (Qua Huzzie, Tristian Johnson) LaGrange prospect to commit to Kentucky this season.
