Big Blue Madness on TV - details

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Big Blue Madness, the first open practice opportunity for Kentucky's 2008-09 men's and women's basketball teams, is Friday, Oct. 10. This will be the fourth time Madness has been held at Rupp Arena, where over 23,000 fans have attended each of the last three years. Fans will be allowed to enter Rupp Arena beginning at 9 p.m. the night of Big Blue Madness.

Madness on TV: UK fans without tickets to Big Blue Madness have a variety of TV options for watching
Kentucky
’s first open practice opportunity. The Big Blue Sports Network will televise the festivities live, from 10 p.m.-Midnight (EDT), on WYMT-TV in Hazard; WKAG-TV in Hopkinsville; WKYT-TV in Lexington and on WMYO-TV in
Louisville
. Fans can also view Big Blue Madness live on All-Access on the University of Kentucky website at www.ukathletics.com.
Other Big Blue Sports Network affiliates will carry Madness on a tape-delayed basis, including WBKO-TV in Bowling Green (12:05 a.m. CT); WTVW-TV in Evansville (10 p.m. CT); WSAZ-DT in Huntington (11 p.m. ET) and WDKA-TV in Paducah/Cape Girardeau (10 p.m. CT). FSN South will carry the event on tape delay, Saturday, Oct. 11 at Noon and 11 p.m. ET.
Blue-White Scrimmage: The Blue-White Scrimmage has been scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1 at 4:00 p.m. in Rupp Arena. Tickets will be available for $5 and will go on sale Oct. 11. A portion of the proceeds from the gate will go to charity. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster and during regular hours at the UK Athletics Ticket Office (M-F, 9am-4pm) and Rupp Arena Ticket Office.
