Cats top Toppers 41-3, look to Alabama

LEXINGTON, Ky -- The Kentucky Wildcats moved to 4-0 on the season with a 41-3 victory over the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Saturday night at Commonwealth Stadium. The victory guarantees a CBS national television audience of two unbeatens facing each other next Saturday afternoon in Tuscaloosa as the Cats will face the Alabama Crimson Tide, 41-30 victors over the # 3 Georgia Bulldogs.

Michael Hartline was 19-for-30 passing with 179 yards, while Derrick Locke added a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to lead the Cats in victory. Tony Dixon had two rushing touchdowns, and Alfonso Smith and Moncell Allen added touchdowns, as Kentucky's running backs accounted for all five Wildcat touchdowns. Ryan Tydlacka added two field goals in his first two career field goal attempts for the final tally.
