Five-star quarterback, Morgan Newton announced this morning that he would be attending the University of Kentucky.
The Carmel High (In.) product was one of Kentucky's top prospects for the class. He picked Kentucky over Clemson, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Purdue and South Carolina. Newton was also receiving late interest from LSU.
Newton, who stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 215 pounds, threw for 1900 yards with 25 touchdowns, and ran for 750 yards and 11 touchdowns, is rated as he number 7 quarterback prospect in the nation according to Scout.com.
