Once again, Kentucky's pipeline to LaGrange (Ga.) High School has paid off. The Wildcats have landed one of their top targets on their board in linebacker Qua Huzzie.

The 5-foot-11 210 pound linebacker from Georgia has decided to become the newest Wildcat. "I havent made it (official) yet, but I'm making it (official) tomorrow morning," said Huzzie.

Huzzie has made his feelings about Kentucky known on several occassions. To nobody's surprise, he picked Kentucky. "I felt like other colleges weren't for me," he said. "I like the atmosphere and the coaches around Kentucky. Me and coach Phillips, we connected. We have a strong bond. I can talk to him about anything."

That connection, along with several friends from LaGrange already on the UK's roster led Qua to make his intentions known. "I was considering South Carolina, UAB, Clemson and Duke," he said. Huzzie was also receiving attention from teams in close proximity to LaGrange: Auburn and Georgia.

"I just want to get in and compete. I want to compete for the starting job as a freshman," said Huzzie.

Huzzie is a three-star prospect according to Scout.com. He's the 13th commitment for the Wildcats in the 2009 class.
