"They came up to the school," said Guiton. "Coach Steve Brown talked with me. He wants to get me up there for a visit," Guiton said. "He wants me to see the campus and see things there. I want to go up there and see how it is," said Guiton.
Guiton passed for 2,592 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also ran for 300 yards and 12 touchdowns for Eisenhower High School in Houston Texas. Guiton's numbers have gotten the attention of several programs.
"I'm interested in Kansas, Rice, Houston, Kentucky, Purdue and Iowa State," said Guiton. "I've got offers from Kansas, Rice, Houston, Northwestern, and Iowa State," he said. "I plan to take some unofficial visits to Houston and Baylor," he said. "I've already made one to Rice," he finished.
Guiton hasn't been to any camps at this time. But he hasn't neglected his game. "I haven't been to any camps this summer. I've been working in the weight room at my high school and participating in 7 on 7 drills this summer," said Guiton. "I want to improve my speed. I want to get bigger and stronger," he finished.
"I think I pass the ball pretty good. If things break down, I got enough speed to take off. My first instinct is to pass the ball, though," said Guiton.
Guiton doesn't plan on making his decision any time soon. He says he wants to take some of his official visits first. He does know what he's looking for in teh school he chooses. "I just want to go somewhere with my major. Location is not a big deal for me. I want a good atmosphere around the coaches," said Guiton.
Guiton is a three-star quarterback according to Scout.com and is rated as the number 42 quarterback in the nation.
