UK ran out to a quick lead, literally and figuratively, outscoring WSU 12-0 in fast break points. The Cats led WSU 37-19 at the half, and extended the lead to 32 just five minutes into the second half, and coasted the rest of the way. The 'Cats played all twelve players at least nine minutes each, with no player playing more than 26.
The game was the second game of the Women's Sports Foundation Tournament. UK will next face Indiana at 1 p.m. EST in the championship game tomorrow.
