Georgia Athlete Makes a Commitment

E.J. Adams

E.J. Adams, an athlete that played some quarterback, running back, wide receiver and corner at North Gwinnett has made his decision on where he will play his college football. Where is Mr. Adams going to be playing next year?

"E.J. will be playing at Kentucky," said North Gwinnett Head Coach, Dennis Roland. "He committed to Kentucky late last night."

E.J. Adams was scheduled to take an official visit to South Carolina this weekend. Will that visit still take place?

"No sir, he canceled that visit when he made his decision last night."

Why does Coach Roland feel Adams chose Kentucky?

"I think Coach Brown did a very good job recruiting E.J. He also liked the program and had a good time on his visit. He had a great in home visit with Coach Brooks too."

What position will Adams play for the Wildcats?

"He will play corner," said Coach Roland.

Adams is the second prospect from North Gwinnett that has picked the Kentucky Wildcats. The other one was Ross Bogue, a tight end for the Bulldogs.

Coach Roland added, "Adams will play defensive back for Kentucky. I think E.J. realized that corner is the best position for him on the college level."
