LaGrange High School's Demoreo Ford was one of the first out-of-state commitments to Coach Brooks and the staff. See what he had to say about Kentucky and the prospects of playing with Wesley Woodyard and Braxton Kelly at the next level.

"Yes sir, they are coming to my house tomorrow," Ford said. "I'm still solid in my commitment. Middle Tennessee State offered recently, but I'm very excited about heading to Lexington in the fall."

DeMoreo and LaGrange won another Georgia state football title this past season. "Yes sir, you know it, we won state," Ford exclaimed. "That's three out of four years!"

With Wesley Woodyard coming off an SEC All-Freshmen campaign and several others with an offer at hand, will Ford and Woodyard be bringing anybody with them this fall?

"(chuckles)I don't know," Ford answered. "I know Braxton (Kelly) is really thinking real hard about it. Me and Wesley both are in his ear. Wesley, especially, he wants us all up there. He's real excited about me coming to Kentucky and getting things started."

Asked what he planned to bring to the table at Kentucky; "I am gonna bring that winner's attitude to Kentucky. I'm not used to losing and I don't plan on getting used to it at Kentucky. I plan to go there and bust things open and bring that new attitude - and have fun.

"That's another thing I wanna bring to Kentucky. Have fun. When I went up there, everyone was real business like. Everybody loves to play football, there's no reason why you can't be having fun doing it."

With the 'Cats struggling to find anybody to return punts, Ford believes that he can come in and make an impact upon arrival.

"Oh yeah, I am definitely gonna return punts," Ford said. "Some people don't like it, but I love punt returning. I looked at my stats today and I did pretty good considering they kicked the ball out of bounds so many times this past year. I had like 22 returns for 519 yards, so I did pretty good."

So having already committed to Kentucky and his football season ending in glory, what does a talented star do?

"I'm just working out," Ford explained. "I'm just waiting on the fall. "
