TV plans set for 'Big Blue Bahamas'

Kentucky will be the first team featured in live action when the SEC Network makes its debut in August.

The school announced Wednesday that the SEC Network will carry the final three games of UK's "Big Blue Bahamas" exhibition tour on Aug. 15-17 in Nassau. The first three games, played Aug. 10-12, will be carried by ESPNU.

All six games are slated for a 1 p.m. ET tipoff.

The SEC Network makes its debut on Aug. 14. Many fans are not currently subscribed to a cable or satellite television provider that features the network. Dish Network is currently the lone national provider set to carry the channel with popular outlets like Time Warner Cable and DirecTV having yet to reach a deal with the league.
