Despite sitting out his junior year with an injury, Quinten Dormady has seen himself become one of the top quarterback prospects in Texas with offers from multiple programs. One of the 6-foot-4, 210-pound junior's most recent offers is from Kentucky.
"I feel good about (my Kentucky offer)," Dormady said. "I'm excited to visit. I will go from there," he said.
Dormady has talked most with a couple of the Wildcat staffers with Texas ties.
"I've talked with Coach (Neal) Brown and Coach (Craig) Naivar," he said. "I think they are great guys."
Dormady plans to visit Kentucky this summer, but Kentucky isn't the only program vying for Domady's attention.
"There isn't one school I hear from more than another. I'm just trying to build relationships with them all right now. I have offers from TCU, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, Indiana and Kentucky," he said.
What makes Dormady such a hot prospect at this stage?
"I'm a competitor. I have a strong arm that can make all the throws. And I have good feet. I play in the pocket, but I can extend plays with my feet. I want to win and put my team in position to win," he finished.
