Calipari Friday Presser Notes

Kentucky coach John Calipari said the Wildcats may be playing host to the nation's top team on Saturday when the Florida Gators bring their undefeated SEC record to Rupp Arena.

Kentucky coach John Calipari said the Wildcats may be playing host to the nation's top team on Saturday when the No. 3 Florida Gators bring their undefeated SEC record to Rupp Arena.

"They haven't lost in so long," the UK boss said during Friday's pregame press conference. "What they are is a very talented, veteran, senior-oriented team that plays with discipline for 40 minutes."

Florida (22-2, 11-0 SEC) has ripped off 16 consecutive wins, one shy of the program record.

Not to be one-upped, Florida coach Billy Donovan said Friday that No. 14 Kentucky (19-5, 9-2 SEC) is, top to bottom, "the most talented team in the country."

Vegas even chimed in with a surprising opinion on this day, tabbing the Cats a 3-point favorite.

No matter who is right, it should be a great one at Rupp Arena Saturday night with ESPN College GameDay in town for the national game of the week.
