Kentucky's Jon Toth has been named to the SEC Coaches' All-Freshman Team, the league announced Thursday.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Toth was chosen as center for the unit coming off a season which saw him record 41 knockdown blocks and help the UK rushing attack average 4.1 yards per carry. He was the lone Wildcat on the team with all 14 SEC programs represented by at least one player.
Toth, a native of Indianapolis, picked up his first career start against Miami (Ohio) in Week 2 of the season and started each game for the remainder of the season. He was one of 23 players who made their first career start for UK under first-year head coach Mark Stoops in 2013.
Arkansas, Ole Miss and South Carolina each played a league-leading four members on the 2013 SEC All-Freshman Team. Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell was named the SEC's Freshman of the Year.
Florida had three members, including defensive back Vernon Hargreaves, who was also named to the overall All-SEC Team.
