Kentucky defeated Marshall Saturday afternoon, 82-54 to win their fourth consecutive game after two straight losses. The Cats were led by Ryan Harrow and his 23 points.

Kentucky's final margin of victory over Marshall wasn't indicative of the first 25 minutes of the game which saw the Thundering Herd keep close while the Wildcats struggled to put the ball in the basket, especially from three point range.

The Wildcats made only one of 13 three-point shots in the first half, seeing several of them roll in before coming out. Their lone three point bucket came from sophomore point guard, Ryan Harrow.

Harrow led the Wildcats in scoring with 23 points (11 in the first half). He added four assists and four rebounds as well. Not only did Harrow lead the way for the Cats statistically, he made the right plays at the right time and played with a lot of energy.

Joining Harrow in the intangibles category was Nerlens Noel. The freshman center continued his mad-man-like efforts, scoring 11 points and adding 10 rebounds to give him his first career double-double.

Kentucky went into the half with a 33-24 lead, but gave up that nine point lead quickly as they got off to a slow start in the second half, a habit they have had all season.

Marshall cut the lead to three points at 33-31 before Kentucky went on a 19-4 run over the next six minutes.

Marshall didn't threaten the Wildcats any further in the game. Kentucky outscored Marshall 49-31 in the second half.

Elijah Pittman led Marshall in scoring with 20 points. To go with Harrow's 23 points, Archie Goodwin added another 18 points, six rebounds and two assists.
