Alabama hit the practices fields for Day Two of Auburn prep Tuesday afternoon. As the sun was setting and the air got chillier. The media was granted to periods to watch. Here are some observations.
--Cornerback John Fulton, who head coach Nick Saban said got a “pretty good” turf toe during the Texas A&M game and didn't play against Western Carolina--and spent most of last week’s practice riding a stationary bike in a black no-contact jersey--was cutting and playing fast at today’s practice. He looked like he had a tiny limp after making a few plays, but overall, healthy. Watch him and the other defensive backs in the video below.
--Wide receiver Chris Black (shoulder) continues to wear a black no-contact jersey, but is very active. He’s quite sharp and looks like he’s fully recovered from surgery. He’s playing the role of Auburn receiver Emory Blake on scout team this week.
--Running back T.J. Yeldon (foot), who was limited in Monday’s practice, looked normal and was a full participant during drills.
--Banged up wide receivers Kevin Norwood and Kenny Bell were also full participants during drills. Expect them to be fine to play on Saturday in the Iron Bowl.
