— Saturday marks the first ever meeting between Tennessee and Missouri, as the 2012 season marks the Tigers first in the SEC.

— Tennessee has won eight consecutive home games in Neyland Stadium dating back to the 2008 season.

— Tennessee set a school record for offensive yardage last week against Troy in a 55-48 win. The Vols posted 719 total yards.

— Tennessee and Missouri are tied for the most overtime win in NCAA history with 10.

— Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts against Troy. Bray passed for 530 yards and five touchdowns.

Tyler Bray — 200-334, 2812 yds., 25 TD/10 INT

Rajion Neal — 119 att., 532 yds., 5 TD

Justin Hunter — 56 catches, 838 yds., 7 TD

James Franklin — 103-179, 1057 yds., 4 TD/6 INT

Kendial Lawrence — 136 att., 666 yds., 8 TD

Marcus Lucas — 34 catches, 355 yds., 2 TD

For Tennessee, the key is simple — DEFENSE. If they can play any of it they give themselves a chance to win. The Vols know how to score, but points will be a bit tougher to come by against Missouri's top 20 defense. The Vols have to play a bit of defense themselves to have a chance to win.

For Missouri, the key is slowing down the Tennessee offense. Get after Tyler Bray and the rest will fall. Bray doesn't like to be pressure and if you are able to get to him you will get to the entire team. On offense, do what you do because Tennessee hasn't proven they can stop any type of offense thus far. Recommended Stories
