One of Kentucky's most sought after players in 2012 will be running back Anthony Wales. Wales joined a few dozen other prospects in Lexington on Sunday for Junior Day.

Last season Anthony "Ace" Wales had an outstanding season leading the Yellow Jackets to the 3A State Championship. Wales rushed for 2994 yards and 37 touchdowns. His dominating season was enough to earn scholarship offers from several programs.

"I have offers from Louisville, Kentucky, UCF, Indiana, Western Kentucky, Northwestern, Illinois and Cincinnati," said Wales.

It's still early in the process but Wales says he's favoring a few of those programs right now.

"Louisville, Kentucky, Central Florida, Indiana and Illinois stand out," said Wales.

Ace got an opportunity to visit Kentucky this weekend for Junior Day this weekend and he was impressed.

"(The visit) was great," said Wales. "It couldn't have been better," he continued. "I like how well I connected with he coaches and the programs they have for the student athletes," he said.

Wales was also recently invited to the Under Armour All-American game and the U.S. Army All-American game. He had to choose between those two games.

"I'm playing in the U.S. Army game," said Wales. "I think this is the game I would most likely play in," he finished.
