Joker Phillips on the play of Mike Hartline

Kentucky coach Joker Phillips evaluated his senior quarterback's performance following the 37-34 loss to Auburn.

Following the late loss to the Auburn Tigers Kentucky head coach Joker Phillips evaluated the performance of Mike Hartline, his senior quarterback. Phillips reported, "I thought he played outstanding ... some of the throws he made, not taking sacks, not turning the ball over. I think the guy is playing within the system. Making throws when needs to. Getting us into our run game. He played outstanding, especially this week. As good a game as I have seen a quarterback play within the system. I thought he played outstanding."
